Home Again follows Alice Kinney, recently separated and living in her late father’s Los Angeles home with her two daughters. Her life takes a turn when she befriends three young filmmakers, Harry, George, and Teddy, who move into her guest house. The trio becomes deeply involved in Alice’s life—sparking romance, mentoring her daughter, and supporting her career. 

Complications arise when Alice’s estranged husband, Austen, visits, leading to tension and the trio moving out. Alice finalizes her divorce and regains her independence, while the filmmakers reconcile and rush to support Alice’s daughter at her school play. The film ends with the unconventional group embracing their unique, chosen family dynamic.
